Check out this month's Esri Canada GIS Ambassador blog, featuring our Communications and Research Officer, Molly Pratt, and her work on the Healthy Living in My Community project!
The project, which involves a free 6-lesson unit package for teachers, caters to students in grades 5-10. It focuses on healthy living and English language arts (with an emphasis on storytelling), while at the same time, building interpersonal, critical thinking, investigative, and analytical skills, through a creative lens and using mapping technology as a tool.
